Position Summary:
The Young Adult Women’s Pastor is responsible for overseeing the multi-campus Young Adult ministry of Fellowship Bible Church which serves the college, career, single and young adult population of our congregation. The Young Adult Women’s Pastor will serve in partnership with the Young Adult Pastor and she will be primarily responsible for implementing the vision for the Young Adult Ministry, along with shepherding and leading Young Adult women.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with Fellowship Young Adult women to encourage their spiritual growth in Christ
Coordinate programming and logistics for ministry events including, but not limited to, the weekly Young Adult Nights
Collaborate with the Missions team to identify opportunities for Young Adults to engage in local and global mission’s projects
Recruit and develop women who can shepherd and lead new and existing D-Groups and/or Bible Studies
Provide church-wide visibility for the Young Adult Ministry at Fellowship by communicating about events, service opportunities and discipleship opportunities
Along with the Young Adult pastor, give shepherding and leadership to the Young Adult leadership team
Identify, develop and implement solutions to strategic needs for the Fellowship Young Adult Ministry
Meet regularly with young adult women who serve on the LEAD Team and D-Group or Bible Study leaders to provide coaching and training
Oversee any Young Adult Residents alongside the Young Adult Pastor
Provide pastoral care including counseling, hospital visits, attending funerals, attending weddings, and other shepherding needs
Ensure that all ministry activities align with the mission, values, and beliefs of Fellowship
Function as a member of the entire Adult Discipleship Team, coordinating across ministry areas both within the team and with other ministry teams at Fellowship
Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
3-5 years ministry experience in a ministry of 100 or more participants.
4-year college degree. Seminary is preferred.
Work in a multi-campus ministry model is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong theologically
Highly relational with a focus on discipleship
Ability to engage with Young Adults from all backgrounds
Passion for small groups
Team-oriented – Gets life from and adds life to the teams they work on
Communication skills
Ability to develop and empower direct reports, volunteers, and others
Ability to multitask effectively
Awareness of the Young Adult culture and current trends

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

Signed acknowledgement to policies and procedures as stated in Fellowship Bible Church’s Employee Manual
Living out the spiritual principles outlined in the “Code of Conduct”

Sunday-Thursday; Tuesday night Young Adult night each week and occasional weekend and special events
