BI/Data Architect

Direct Hire ** Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future, without assistance **

Pay: up to $180K plus bonus and stock

We are working with a client that is looking to add her “right hand employee” to her team. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish data architecture within the organization. The data team is currently 8 people, but plan on growing it up 12-15. The long term plan for this company is to move to AI.

What they are looking for:

· Responsible for designing and implementing the overall architecture of the data and analytics solutions

· Developing scalable and efficient BI systems

· Data models

· Implement ETL processes

· managing the Data & Analytics’ ETL and reporting platforms to ensure data is ready for consumption

· Design end-to-end business intelligence and analytics architecture

· Select and integrate BI tools

· Main skill is Snowflake, as they are moving to that for data warehouse.

· Be familiar with bringing data from SAP and manufacturing systems (non-SAP data sources would also be a plus)

· Experience building an architecture for a data warehouse at enterprise-level

· Programming background would be really helpful – SQL, Python – not that you are required to do that, help with selection

· They are currently selecting cloud strategy – some apps are on Aws, some on Azure – so someone not bias and can work on either

· Need a very hands on person with strong communication skills, can work closely with the business.
