Salary: $100,000

Location: Union, NJ

Work hours: Full time- 40 hours’ weekly

POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this newly created position, the Director of Billing and Reimbursement plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services by implementing and managing comprehensive reimbursement strategies and leading the billing function. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of reimbursement policies, healthcare regulations, strategic positioning and billing practices related to behavioral health billing and reimbursement matrices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred, current Certified Professional/Medical Coder certification preferred with a minimum of 5 years medical coding experience. In addition, 10 years of medical billing in BH/SUD field. Minimum of three years in a supervisory role. Strong time management skills and professional knowledge level of Excel. Experience in computerized billing and collection systems, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines.

Valid driver’s license required
