Technical & Material Engineer

· Document Control, Preparing prequalification Submittals, Material Submittals etc.

· Tag and organise the project samples.

· Follow up with the suppliers for sample and submittals.

· Compliance statement for materials to be prepared.

· Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and timelines.

· Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.

· Review project specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Develop and review method statements for construction activities.

· Analyse material submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.

· Prepare compliance statements and documentation for regulatory approvals.

· Conduct site inspections to assess construction progress and quality.

· Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.

· Identify and address any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.

· Manage and respond to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) issued from project sites.

· Investigate root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.

· Monitor and track NCR resolutions to ensure timely closure.

· Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and correspondence.

· Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

· Manages and prepares the required submittals for client's approval.

· Ensure all departments are aware of the approved materials and have the track of the same.

· Hand over approved materials to the project teams.

· Coordination with client, consultant and contractors will be managed.

· Development of technical submittals, commercial submittals, tender documents, etc.

· Conduct the preparation of proposals & Registration for Public/private sector clients.

· Preparation of technical standards and specifications for Steel Fabrication projects with respect to the local and international standards and requirements.

Requirements

· A minimum of 5 years in preparing pre-qualification & Material Submittals.

· working knowledge of English to read, write & understand the MS, SS Material.
