As a Payroll Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. You will be responsible for various aspects of payroll administration, including but not limited to processing employee timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and on time using our payroll software/system.

Verify and reconcile employee timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime as applicable.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues in a timely and professional manner.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.

Generate payroll reports as needed for management review.

Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices.

Proficiency in using payroll software/systems

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
