Job Description
A therapist at Atlanta Therapy will provide outpatient individual and/or group therapy to clients of Atlanta Therapy + Wellness. Clinical therapy services include the treatment of adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are currently looking for therapists and counselors who work with all people! As a therapist, you'll set your own schedule, have access to our office space, enjoy collaborative team consultations, and if you're seeking supervision, supervision is included!Compensation:
$40 - $50 hourlyResponsibilities:
Perform on-site and virtual clinical counseling services to clients of Atlanta Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. The amount of on-site vs. virtual sessions will depend upon the needs of the practice, clients, and CD recommendation
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Atlanta Therapy
Respond to client’s requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Atlanta Therapy website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients
Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary
Timely completion of written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents that may be needed or required from time to time by Atlanta Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep client files accurate and up-to-date
Attend staff meetings, supervision, consultations, and trainings as directed by your supervisor and/or Atlanta Therapy
Conduct and regulate therapy services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Atlanta Therapy. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers
Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn
Assist with marketing, speaking engagements, community outreach, and other duties as may be assigned, as needed by Clinical DirectorQualifications:
Align with the mission, vision, and values of Atlanta Therapy
Must be punctual in reporting to work and starting/ending appointments
Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work
Active license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the State of Georgia (must be associate or fully licensed). A copy must be provided to your supervisor before hire
Available to hold at least 25 client sessions per week for full-time (minimum of 15 client sessions per week if part-time), provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Atlanta Therapy
Be organized and detail-oriented
Be a team player
Be able to work independently on tasks assigned
Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Prior experience in a private practice setting highly preferred
Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.)About Company
