The Girl Experience (GE) Specialist successfully manages the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) to girls within a specific regional community within Girl Scouts of Eastern PA ‘s (GSEP’s) footprint, through GSEP council events and year-round programming at a GSEP camp. This position also assists with Calling All Girl Bosses and Girl Scouts Highest Awards

Calling All Girl Bosses is a revolutionary recruitment and program approach designed to empower older girls to achieve the highest awards in Girl Scouting while also making a positive impact on their local communities. The approach will focus on recruiting girls in grades 6-12 and volunteers, securing meeting spaces, and delivering a customized nine-month Girl Scouting curriculum. This curriculum will support the award process and provide enriched opportunities for learning, personal growth, and fun for the girls.

Within Girl Scouts Highest Awards, this position will help to streamline the process, while elevating project topics, scope, and sustainability. This role also promotes portions of our events as leadership opportunities for Girl Scouts in our community and provides training to girl roles at GSEP’s Take the Lead events.

The GE Specialist is part of an integrated Mission Delivery team that also includes Community Engagement, and Volunteer Experience Specialists. Their goal is to provide the Foundational Girl Experience to girls in their assigned community, aligned to key identifiers and needs within the community, including national programs, grade level programs, school series, partner programs, awards, etc.
