Warehouse Processing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Processing Specialist to join our team. The Warehouse Processing Specialist will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely processing of orders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.

Process incoming inventory by recording and labeling items, and ensuring proper storage.

Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications.

Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems.

Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

Monitor and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Assist with inventory replenishment and cycle counting as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory status and issues.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in warehouse operations or inventory management preferred.

Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Forklift certification a plus.
