Hogan Hospitality Group is looking to hire an exceptional General Manager for DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Rosemead, California.
The hotel features 202 guestrooms, a bar/lounge, a restaurant, a pool, a fitness room, a business center, and several large meeting and event spaces.
We are seeking a hands-on, high-energy Hotel General Manager with strong operations management and brand experience. In this key leadership role, you will have the opportunity to drive great business results by utilizing your excellent business skills and ensuring the delivery of great guest service!
The General Manager oversees all hotel business including operations, service delivery, revenue management, food and beverage, sales, and financial results. You will provide hands-on leadership in facilitating guest experiences that exceed expectations, while revenue is maximized, and expenses are effectively controlled.Compensation:
$115,000 per yearResponsibilities:
Establish daily priorities, direct operations, and ensure all guest services run smoothly and efficiently
Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, policies, procedures, and service standards
Lead all key property issues including capital projects, maintenance, improvements, etc.
Resolve guest complaints and oversee the subsequent service recovery
Responsible for the preparation and subsequent achievement of the hotel operating budget by managing the ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met
Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel, and managementQualifications:
Must have a minimum of three years of experience as a general manager for a full-service hotel
Must have a full understanding of brand standards adherence and compliance
Must have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations
Hilton brand experience is required
Must be highly motivated, and self-directed, with strong initiative and a desire for success
Exceptional guest service and guest recovery skills are required
Must possess strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be a positive leader with a high level of emotional intelligence
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and communicate with diplomacy and tact
Must have food and beverage knowledge including all aspects of restaurant management, menu development, inventory, cost analysis, and POS
Full front and back of house restaurant knowledge
Must have a thorough understanding of P/L, budgets, and best accounting practicesAbout Company
