MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE IN MACHINE OPERATING IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT

Connect Staffing is seeking a detailed casting operator for a reputable vinyl manufacturer in Placentia, CA.

Schedule:Monday- Friday 2 PM- 10:30 PM Must be flexible and have weekend availability

Requirements of the Casting Operator:

6 months of prior experience in machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of extrusion or casting processes

High school diploma or equivalent

Must pass a background check and drug test

Ability to safely lift 50lbs+

Must have steel-toe boots

Able to tolerate strong smells created by the industrial process

Ability to comply with grooming standards, including no facial hair

Prior experience in roles such as Film Production Operator, Quality Control Inspector, and Machine Operator is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Casting Operator:

Operate casting machines to produce vinyl films according to production schedules and specifications

Clean and set up wet-end equipment (coating head, pump, and filters) as needed and monitor and make process/equipment

Identify coating defects and take corrective action to eliminate the defect

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Set up mixers, pump, tote, hose, liner, and adhesive according to work order requirements

Handling Hazardous Waste and procedures

Be mindful of sensitivity to odors in the surrounding environment
