MORE ABOUT THE PT PHYSICAL THERAPIST POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Physical Therapist opportunity include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in their home environment, evaluating their physical abilities, mobility, and functional status

Develop individualized and patient-centered treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and physician recommendations

Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation interventions to improve patients' physical function and mobility

Conduct assessments of the home environment to identify potential safety hazards and recommend modifications to enhance patient safety

Implement fall prevention strategies, including balance training and education on fall risk factors

Address and manage pain through therapeutic interventions, modalities, and patient education

Be a model of professionalism and compassion by serving as an ambassador to this organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PT PHYSICAL THERAPIST:

Masters of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Successful completion of the National Certification Examination

2+ years of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years

BLS issued by the AHA

OASIS experience preferred

Valid PT license in Alabama
