Position Duties:
They are scheduling 40-45 minute appointments, so approximately 11-12 patients per day.
Obtain pertinent health history and perform appropriate physical examinations
Formulate a diagnosis and plan related to the patient s condition
Perform procedures, at the clinic, inpatient and outpatient
Prescribe and refill medication, including controlled substances
Function as part of the Medical Group and clinicians, covering for providers who are out, working with case management, collaborating with specialists and allied health professionals to maximize health outcomes
Appropriately refer patients requiring specialty care and services
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings
Requirements:
Graduate from accredited medical school
Board Certified (current)/Eligible in own specialty
Active California medical license
Current Federal DEA
Additional credentials as required by virtue of specialty
Experience working a multi-specialty group highly recommended, but not required
