Locums - Lafayette, Louisiana, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening

Very busy, very high acuity teaching hospital with OB Residency from LSU.
Facility is very selective - acceptance will require OBHG approval, virtual site interview, and then additional interview between file completion and privileges granted

Total Number of FTEs needed? 6 shifts per block
Reason for Coverage: down 5 SPM.
EMR: Cerner, but will convert to EPIC at undetermined date
Coverage Dates (Specific, long term only): 6 shifts per block
Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: 7a-7a
Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures: deliveries, c-sections, OB ED and GYN cases
Patients per Day/Volume: Hospital does 90 deliveries per month, many maternal transfers, will be busy
Support Staff: MFM, in-house Anesthesia, FP and OB/GYN residents
Trauma Level: Have asked
NICU Level: 3
Miscellaneous Information: Very busy, very high acuity teaching hospital with OB Residency. Hospitals are quite selective and will scrutinize malpractice history, board actions, references, lapses in work history. Credentialing will take 120 days, and application will not be provided from MSO until active LA license, proof of enrollment in LA PCH, and COI are provided with a pre-app. Will require virtual interview with facility if approved by OBHG before acceptance and will require in-person interview after file is complete but before privileges are granted (working to see if can be virtual as well, but this is a by-law requirement).
