Medical Assistant

Compensation& Benefits: $26.00per hour plus benefits

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (preferred) OR a High School Diploma/GED (required) and 3+ years relevant experience in the healthcare field desired

Experience and comfort in phlebotomy (required)

Knowledge of medical terminology

Experience in pregnancy care (preferred)

Flexible schedule; able to work from clinic opening until last patient leaves

Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMRs

Spanish proficiency considered a bonus

Details:

Theposition is full time and located in Uptown/Downtown Manhattan.

Roomingpatients, as well as turnover and maintenance

Organizingschedules and huddles to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner

Helpingmaintain a clean, courteous, and professional clinical environment includingthe changeover of rooms, removal of paper, etc.

Assistancewith scheduling (virtual and clinic) and review of next days schedule toprepare providers

Coverageof front desk when needed

Crosscoverage between our clinics when needed
