FT/PT Psychiatrist Outside of Ann Arbor, MI

Annashae is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Psychiatrist to provide services to an inpatient facility an hour and a half outside of Ann Arbor, MI. The facility asks for a minimum commitment of 6 months, preferably a year.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Conduct initial psychiatric assessments for patients upon admission according to mandated protocol.

Provide medication management and adjustments to patients as necessary

Conduct follow-up assessments and annual summaries per hospital protocol, adjusting treatment plans accordingly, and provide clinical supervision of behavior treatment plans.

Participate in case reviews, diagnosis, and treatment planning meetings for patients.

Requirements:

A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine and Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible.

One year experience (pediatric, consult, adult, geriatric or forensic) as a psychiatrist in a mental health clinic, correctional facility, or inpatient psychiatric hospital.

A valid license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.

Must possess a Drug Enforcement Administrative (DEA) license to prescribe controlled substances.

Must possess a Michigan Controlled Substance License.
