Liquid Trees is dedicated to harnessing the power of diatoms as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon. We focus on removing pollutants from freshwater systems using native microalgae and diatoms, which sequester CO2 through photosynthesis. Our efforts are concentrated on two primary domains:

Carbon Capture: as a natural solution for capturing atmospheric carbon.

Water bioremediation: for pollutants removal from water bodies

This fieldwork-based internship position will last 3 months and will be converted into permanent employment for the best-performing Interns. The role is designed for Interns to gain hands-on experience in plant operations, particularly in raceway pond cultivation of microalgae.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in the day-to-day operations of raceway pond cultivation of microalgae.

-Conduct regular monitoring and maintenance of raceway ponds.

-Assist in data collection and analysis related to microalgae cultivation.

-Collaborate with the team to optimize cultivation conditions and improve productivity.

-Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during fieldwork activities.

Requirements:

-You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Bioengineering or a similar field.

-You have theoretical and (ideally) practical experience with microalgae during your studies.

-Proficiency in Hindi and English languages.

-Comfortable with fieldwork in Noida.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

-Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.

-Experience with AutoCAD (preferred).

-Experience with Excel for data analysis and visualization.
