Connect Energy partners with a manufacturing company in O&G / Marine industry to look for an ASSISTANT SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER with steel fabrication experience to join the company in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Administrative
Processing of offer/order/ object information in the ERP system
Record and administer customer offer and order progress information, according to CRSM-system requirements. Organize and chair necessary meetings
Ensure the direct and timely reporting to Account Management, principals and stakeholders on the status of the solutions proposal processes;
Collect, register and report all solution proposal information for customer and product management company database
SALES AND SUPPORT
Analyse, prioritize customer parts requests, both technically and commercially and consult all disciplines and department required;
Provide advice and solutions to customers, in close co-operation with several departments, such as Service, Supply Chain, Engineering departments, to offer the best fit solution on all requests and enquiries to comply with customer needs and specifications;
Evaluate customer terms and conditions (T&C) to comply with agreed Company Terms and Conditions and/or MSA and SLA agreements.
Initiate, coordinate, evaluate and follow up cost estimations for parts quotations purposes with all applicable departments;
Define timelines and delivery dates
Analyse customer orders, both technically and commercially and consult all disciplines and department required;
Ensure authorization on received orders and confirmation of the order to the client.
3. ORDER HANDLING & REPORTING
Ensure follow-up on orders received and confirm authorized orders to clients
Prepare purchase requests and Hand over orders to supply chain
Monitor the timely delivery of purchased goods and customer orders, report non-conformances to Account Management immediately
Initiate instructions for the transportation of finished goods to the Supply Chain Department
Ensure the direct and timely reporting to Account Management, principals and stakeholders on the status of the solutions proposal progress
Initiate instructions and documentation for the transportation of receipt goods to the client.
4. ORDER ANALYSIS & INVOICING
Ensure completion of all order related information is ready to prepare the invoice to the customer upon delivery of the items or services as the agreed rates and terms.
Monitoring when the payment is received confirmation is received from the client and initiating the order execution in case of an advance payment
5. TEAMWORK & INNOVATION
Identify deviations and/or distortions which will be reported to the designated AM
Provide ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for customer relation management and the further growth of the Huisman organisation
Provide ideas, suggestions and interpretation for improvement for the sales department, such as administrative procedures, working methods and systems
Provide ideas, suggestions and suitable interpretation for improvement for processes that relate to the role of the Assistant Sales
Pursue personal development of knowledge and skills for the effective performance of the role
Requirements
Diploma in Engineering
Min. 3 years experience in relevant industry
Background in CNC machining / Metal Fabrication is preferred
Knowledge and experience in QC specification, engineering drawing reading, product quality inspection requirement
Knowledge in quality compliance for machining and fabrication with applicable standards
Basic knowledge in welding process for steel fabrication
Technical disposition for vendor and quality queries
Willing to work in Tuas vicinity
