Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and facilitate the inbound Supply Chain operations. This role will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day inbound freight activities.

Coordinate and liaise with the supply planning/buying team to arrange and monitor the supply chain transportation on a day-to-day basis.

Effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and various stakeholders to build relationships and plan effectively for efficient cost savings.

Compare and contrast multiple quotations for cost savings and tendering loads to selected carrier.

Monitor all shipments until it arrive at the destination and update cross-functional teams involved.

Ensure that delivery and packing requirements are followed by stakeholders and carriers using our SOP

Coordinate and organize weekly truck layouts and update accordingly

Book delivery appointments in Data Docks

Help with continuous logistic improvements and SOP creation/maintenance

Skills and preferred qualifications

(Non-negotiable) At least 2 years experience as a Logistics Coordinator; kindly ensure this is emphasized on your CV

(Non-negotiable) Willing to work on night shift and weekends; potentially with rotational shift

(Non-negotiable) Can report to our BGC, Taguig office when needed

Candidates with US logistics and geography are preferred

Strong knowledge of the 4 modes of transportation (Road, Air, Ocean & Rail)

Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, preferably in the food or CPG industry

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Google Docs, Sheets, Excel, Word)

Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding organizational and detailed oriented

Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies regarding logistics

Ability to multitask and track multiple processes throughout the supply chain

Experience of logistics software (ERP)

Benefits

Unused leave credits can be converted into money for a maximum of 5 days, provided at the end of the year.

13th-month pay calculated proportionally based on the duration of employment.

Long Service Benefit is granted at a rate of 0.5 times your monthly basic salary per year of service, capped at a maximum of 2 monthly salaries.

Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage is available for the principal employee from the first day of employment and for one dependent after one year.

Group Life Insurance is provided.

Paid time off includes 10 days per year during the first year of employment, and 20 days per year starting from the second year of employment.
