Graphic Designer

The Role:

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. You'll be in charge of shaping the visual aspects of websites, printed materials, corporate identities, social media and more. In this position, you will be reporting to senior dev management and will be responsible for basic graphic design duties for different projects.

Responsibilities:

Speaking/meeting with clients to determine scope and requirements.

Maintaining knowledge of design industry standards and trends, and their application to the applicable sector.

Creating new visual assets following predefined/existing corporate branding.

Designing and producing printed materials, including but not limited to: business cards, promotional materials, banners, and brochures.

Creating digital assets, including but not limited to: email newsletters, websites (both full design and modifications to existing), and social media posts (static and animated).

Creating, managing and maintaining design files, including: stock and custom-created graphics, illustrations, and logos.

Collaborate with developers to match visual design intent.

Build, maintain and update, custom-built, lightweight and responsive WordPress websites on Divi or Elementor builders.

Accurately tracking time against various projects for reporting and billing purposes.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Proficient in Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Acrobat)

Proficient in using Figma

Experience in building and updating websites on various platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc.)

Able to design online and print media

Nice to Have:

Marketing and SEO knowledge is an asset (not required)

Post-secondary education in graphic design

Experience with WooCommerce

Experience designing user interfaces for web and mobile

Own equipment including head-set

UPS battery backup for short term outages
