Position: Finance Manager

Location: Truro, England, United Kingdom

Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience)

Accountancy Search Ltd is a leading recruitment agency in the finance and accounting sector, based in Truro, Cornwall. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

- Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures

- Managing the budgeting and forecasting process

- Producing financial reports and presenting them to senior management

- Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for improvement

- Managing the company's cash flow and ensuring efficient use of funds

- Overseeing the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents

- Managing relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities

- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel

- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
