ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for a candidate who will oversee all FSR movements, operational issues, and serve as a conduit between the Government representatives, FSRs and the unit, with oversight of the logistical movements of terminals and sustainment of terminals. Candidate will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of all contracted work efforts, personnel supervision, timeliness and accuracy of deliverables, and correction of any real or perceived problem areas. The Regional Manager will interface on a regular basis with the COR for overall contract performance/schedule/satisfaction reporting and will be the single conduit between Government representatives, FSRs, and unit.

This position will perform the following tasks:

Receive operational guidance from unit Leadership and manages all project and task requirements accordingly

Provide advice to unit leadership on engineering efforts and provide technical recommendations for current projects or initiatives being considered

Apply Project Management best practices in the synchronization and coordination of the development and execution of all requirements, ensuring engineering projects are completed in a timely manner with quality results

Operate in environment that has requirements in frequent political-level customer engagement in a Combined Joint-Operational Military environment

Ensure all personnel receive proper training, care, and access to the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete project and task requirements

Provide accurate and timely reporting to key leaders and stakeholders to include consolidating the Weekly Status Report and reviewing the Projects Tracker for accuracy

Report critical commander incident report (CCIR) to leader and designated government representative

Have knowledge of existing networks and terminals

Shall have good verbal communication skills

Shall have good documentation and writing skills

Handle other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

All candidates will have the basic qualifications below with degree:

Ten (10) years in systems development and engineering required

Shall have 2-year experience in a military environment

Five (5) years of managing employees (performance reviews, etc.).

*Active Secret (or higher) clearance required (or have had one on the last 24 months)

Bachelor’s degree in management, preferred

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the management discipline, candidate must meet either of the following:

An associate degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience, OR

A major certification plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience, OR

Twenty (20) years of recent specialized experience and must successfully complete necessary governmental/corporate security training

Additional Requirements:

ACTIVE SECRET Clearance Required

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Position is in Germany with additional travel possibilities up to 100% with possibility to deploy with Unit to remote locations. Typical uplifts apply when deployed where applicable (hazard/hardship/cola).

Medical screening in conjunction with the US Army CRC (CONUS Replacement Center) guidelines.
