We are currently searching for a new, full-time member for our team for the position of:

Acquisition Logistician (Supply) Journeyman

Job Description:

The candidate will perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. The candidate is expected to assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts. The candidate will support the T-38 Program Office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases to include all milestone activities. Throughout daily operations the candidate will apply knowledge of Government Furnished Property/Government Furnished Equipment (GFP/GFE) purchasing to assist in determining cost, developing budgets, processing purchase documentation, and resolving issues to ensure adequate asset availability and assist in identifying and providing recommendations and/or solutions regarding candidate opportunities to reduce weapons system total ownership cost.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Program Manager during key acquisition events and reviews as needed, such as: System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCM), Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), and others as applicable.

Assists the Program Manager with aspects of program cost, schedule, and performance; assists with Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), data calls, and reviews; supports and assists in planning, organizing, and managing of general and critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of the systems, subsystems, and equipment as well as the acquisition program management of the full life cycle requirements.

Participates in process improvement activities as members of, or advisors to, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups (PIWGs)

Required Qualifications

BA/BS (or higher), ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three (3) of which must be in the DoD - OR -

Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD.

Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with avionics systems and aircraft maintenance
