The Area Sales Manager plays a key role in growing and expanding operations, market share, and profitability. The candidate’s primary focus is to travel within the assigned DMV territory to hunt for new business opportunities and to foster existing relationships. This person will educate clients or potential clients about our products and services, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies while strengthening partnerships that will drive Answer Title’s success.

The ideal candidate has an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, enabling them to develop unique ideas and solutions to elevate sales and manage the DMV territory. They have a passion for real estate and make an effort to stay up to date on new industry trends. They should have excellent interpersonal skills that enable them to effectively communicate with C Suite Executives, Key Decision Makers, and clients on any level.

Play an integral role in influencing sales, shaping the strategic direction of the company, and driving growth initiatives.

Establish and deploy processes to prioritize growth, increase revenue, expand our current portfolio, and promote the Answer Title brand.

Schedule and attend meetings with clients, potential partners, or existing stakeholders to discuss ongoing projects and new opportunities while building and maintaining relationships.

Conduct market analysis and territory research, develop recommendations, and produce reporting.

Lead cross-functional teams, demonstrate inclusive teamwork, and collaborate with the Answer Title Leadership team and partners to develop winning strategies for pursuing and closing contracts.

Partner with the business and strategy team members to track and identify potential acquisition targets and transactions/partnerships aligned with strategic priorities.

Prioritize a highly organized, detail-oriented approach while deploying excellent project management skills and problem-solving support.

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and expand our professional network, which can lead to new opportunities.

Drive the end-to-end sales process.

Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that impact the organization’s activities and ensure compliance in all business development efforts.

Devise weekly reports on the opportunities, challenges, and wins within assigned DMV territory and present these reports to the management team.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

These are some of the required skills and experiences you’ll need for success in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline.

Understand the specific industry or market in which the organization operates. This includes knowledge of market trends, competitors, regulatory environments, and customer needs.

Proficiency in market research techniques to identify opportunities and threats in the market. This involves data analysis, consumer behavior analysis, and staying informed about industry news.

Knowledge of (social media platforms) and social media marketing trends.

Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, develop win strategies, assess the competition, and build strong teams.

Strong grasp of business strategy and the ability to develop and implement growth strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.

Skills in building and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, investors, and other stakeholders. This includes negotiation and deal-making abilities.

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions, measure the success of growth initiatives, and identify areas for improvement.

Strong communication skills, including presenting ideas and opportunities effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Mindset for innovation and the ability to think creatively to identify new opportunities and solutions.

Familiarity with relevant software and tools such as Qualia.

Ability to build and maintain a professional network, attend industry events, and stay updated on industry developments.
