What will I do?
Performs receiving inspections on incoming materials prior to placement in stock.
Identifies and controls non-conforming product and ensures items are contained to prevent inadvertent use and/or shipment.
Perform in-process and final inspections and documents findings.
Verifies non-conforming items are corrected prior to release for shipment.
Documents inspection results and certifies products prior to release for shipment.
What’s required of me?
High School graduate, or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years welding experience and/or quality control experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment
Use of inspection tools to include rulers, tape measures, precision squares, micrometers, calipers, tools and gauges.
Understand and read mechanical drawings that can be interpreted for developing inspection plans or first article inspections
Experience as a welder
Forklift / Overhead Crane.
