JOB OVERVIEW

Star Shuttle and Charter in San Antonio is looking for a full-time Tour Operator to drive Sprinters and Charter Buses in downtown San Antonio. We are looking for a positive, outgoing, customer service driven driver who is comfortable speaking into a microphone while giving the tours. Must have a good knowledge of Texas history and downtown San Antonio.

Transporting guests to/from designated locations in a safe, efficient and courteous manner.

Adhering to all local and state driving laws.

Ensures safety and security of passengers and vehicle.

$16 per hour plus commission and tips.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain complete knowledge and compliance of all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.

Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.

Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

Inspect vehicle for damage; document required repairs.

Inspect vehicle for operating condition and correct and issues (i.e., tire pressure, oil/fuel/water levels).

Communicate vehicle maintenance needs to Manager on duty.

Obey all traffic and driving regulations.

Remain on scheduled route at all times.

Drive the vehicle to transport guests/visitors to and from designated destinations.

Meet and greet passengers from designated pick up areas.

Communicate any delays, problems and passenger needs by phone

Document all trips accurately prior to the start of, and at the conclusion of each day

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class C or B with Passenger Endorsement

Excellent driving record as detailed by Insurance Company requirements.

Thorough knowledge of local roads.

Ability to pass background check

Available to work weekends

Ability to pass pre-employment drug test

Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.

Provide legible communication and directions.

Basic arithmetic and money handling required.
