Position

Marine Operation Executive will be responsible for coordinating and cooperating with internal and external stakeholders for Smooth operations of vessels calling to Myanmar. Need to drive initiatives to reduce port expense and other cost savings. Must present as local contact point for berth planning, cargo flow monitoring & agency activity.

This role will be based at our terminal office (transportation provided):

Hutchison Ports MITT -

Myanmar Industry Port (MIP) -

Due to business needs, this role is on flexi working hours (depending on the vessels’ schedule), supporting 24/7 and will need to stay overnight at terminal office when on duty.

Responsibilities:

Optimisation of vessels scheduling.

Making sure berth on arrival, suitable port stay to utilize vessel full and same time to depart as per schedule.

Coordinate agency activities, plan timeline and monitor progress.

Monitor Cargo flow in country.

Administrator of Marine Operations, owner of data processing and preparing dashboard.

Dealing with Local Authority and Terminal Operators for smooth berthing operation.

Drive to achieve target productivity of terminals.

Participate in contingencies planning.

Coordinate agency activities with 3rd party agent.

Coordination with E&E for EQU flow.

Attending cargo incident.

Supports function manager on ad hoc project/report.

We Are Looking For:

Fresh graduate who is willing to learn Marine Operation.

Experience in Vessel Operation / Shipping industry is advantageous.

Good command of spoken and written English.

Good communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently.

Customer-minded attitude is required.

Good skill in Microsoft office

Team player – Works together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamwork.
