This role will lead an eCommerce strategy and growth plan and manage and drive on-site conversion. This digitally savvy leader will also be accountable to be an industry and business expert of best practices in on-site search and merchandising, product content management, web analytics, digital catalogs, search engine optimization, and search engine marketing to drive above market growth in the ecommerce channels.

Job Title: eCommerce Manager
Reports To: VP of Marketing
Department: Marketing, Managing a team of 3-6
Schedule: Onsite: Monday-Friday / 8am – 5pm
FLSA Classification: Salary/Exempt
Key Areas of Responsibility
Oversee the online merchandising, engagement, and measurement of (url removed)
Manage, evolve and optimize (url removed) to be best in class, inclusive of merchandising, education, and manufacturer partnerships
Working closely with external agencies, supply partners, and cross-functional team members, s/he will be responsible for the day-to-day performance, growth and optimization of (url removed)
Lead our online Customer Experience including Design & Aesthetics, Content, Navigation, Information Architecture, Branding/Marketing, Performance, Functionality and Usability
Evaluate web traffic and metrics to help measure and inform web updates and strategies for website content, landing pages and paid search copy
Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
Build and execute a robust customer journey experience for ecommerce
Manage A/B testing and experimenting on digital channels, landing pages, and creatives to maximize conversion rates
Drive cross-departmental collaboration, communication, and process improvement and manage a team of internal and external resources
Foster a culture of continuous optimization by developing and implementing a strong framework for iterative testing (creative, copy, segmentation, targeting)
Create and execute an SEO and content plan that increases website traffic, conversion rates, average order size, and customer retention
Own Google Analytics tracking and reporting, collecting data and reporting on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
Produce, analyze, and deliver reporting on digital marketing KPIs including traffic, CPA, CR, ad spend ratios, and overall growth and health of digital marketing channel
Partner closely with sales and brand marketing to ensure eCommerce efforts align with overall marketing goals and complement all marketing promotions
Document, develop, and evolve tools and processes to support business needs and ensure data integrity
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or eCommerce
MBA preferred, but not required
5+ years of experience in digital marketing and eCommerce markets with management experience required
B2B and omnichannel marketing environment is a plus
Technical marketing and web development understanding (SEM, SEO, PPC, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Microsoft Advertising, etc.)
Experience with relevant software applications – Magento, NetSuite CRM (or similar)
Strong track record in developing eCommerce websites; previous distributor or wholesale experience is a plus
Deep understanding of UX/UI with customer experience
Strong leadership, management, analytical skills, and technical aptitude
Strong marketing sensibility and ability to balance content and commerce
Strong communication skills with the ability to present and discuss analysis to executive management
