The HSE Coordinator helps with the coordination of critical safety related policies and procedures, helps organize team meetings, solve safety issues, coordinate audits, and inspections, tracks corrective actions and incident data, reviews important safety documents, and many other duties that require a high degree of attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for maintaining 3rd Party Compliance Systems such as IS Networld, Avetta, Comply Works and similar and

supporting HSE related questions on Customers Pre-Qualification requests.

Maintain, track, and order all safety related Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and supplies for the Field and Shops.

Monitor, and manage all Workers Compensation claims and medical billing and file any 3rd party, auto, GL or

theft insurance claims for the organization.

Act as Designated Employer Representative (DER) for DISA and other drug and alcohol testing consortiums.

Maintain Medical Surveillance documentation for the company and schedule and track completion of appointments.

Manage Certificate of Insurance (COI) and coordinate with Customers, Broker, and Sales Department to satisfy these

requests.

Maintain all OSHA logs and preparation of all relative documents.

Track monthly HSE related metrics and create scorecards for locations and leaderships.

Assist with Training class scheduling, material development and tracking.

Act as document control for all HSE related policies, forms, and procedures.

Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Have a thorough knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles and best practices

Have a full comprehension of OSHA regulations

Maintains historical employee records, files, and data

Creates Power-point presentations

Handle confidential documents and information and exercise discretion

Perform HSE Audits for compliance

Familiarity with Federal, State and Local laws

Strong organizational skills

Must be able to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail

Must be a team player

Have the ability to Supervise Administrator support staff

Bilingual a plus

Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

3 years HSE experience is preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power-Point

Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Must be able to pass pre employment testing that includes background check, drug testing (urine and hair follicle) and physical fitness test

High School Diploma/High School Equivalent
