Job Summary

We are looking for an Automotive Technician to join our successful service center. If you're an Automotive Mechanic with 3 to 5 years of experience, ours is a dynamic environment where you can earn well with opportunity for growth and promotion.

Our business is able to provide you a steady workload of drivetrain, brakes, and steering/suspension repairs with mentorship to assist you in achieving new heights. We have a large base of repeat clients and a very stable car count. Moreover, our front office team comprises industry veterans who keep the bays rolling with quality jobs and the timely supply of parts to complete them. The average tenure of our current team members is over 12 years!

As an AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN at our facility, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles in a high-volume shop environment. You must be comfortable using professional shop equipment and digital resources to navigate the daily workload. This is a position for someone with established knowledge of vehicle systems and an ability to evaluate vehicles in an efficient and consistent manner. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment and on all makes and models.

Responsibilities

Working independently with limited support from management.

Communicating findings and level-of-confidence to office staff.

Assisting office personnel to ensure accurate procurement of parts and supplies.

Maintaining appropriate documentation for ROs/work while adhering to necessary protocols.

Carry out routine vehicle inspection and maintenance tasking in conjunction with other repairs.

Accurately evaluate vehicles and complete quality repairs efficiently with a low comeback rate.

Qualifications

3-5 years of automotive repair experience.

Ability to independently and efficiently diagnose brake system, steering and suspension and other mechanical faults.

Completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are encouraged but NOT required.

Strong workplace communications skills are required.

Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.

HVAC service and repair experience is a plus!

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Shift Information: The shop is open 6 days per week (Saturdays are shortened workdays. Open until noon). Closed on Sunday with 6 paid holidays each year.
