Job Description
We are seeking a Operations Manager to become an integral part of driving a team! You will coordinate and oversee the organization's daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and improve operational practices including overseeing safety, OSHA, DOT compliance
Allocate resources and materials to meet client project deadlines
Track and forecast operational trends and analysis
Provide daily operations oversight for outside teams
Hire, coach and support staff for performance
Handle budget/ forecasting and P/L responsibilities
Formalize policies and procedures in accordance to HR regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a leadership/ operations or other related fields
Strong project management skills
3-5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong leadership qualities
Previous experience with hiring, training, mentoring staff
Proven track record to achieve overall performance goals and KPI metrics
