Job Description

*Qualifications:* ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LICENSED AS AN EMT, EMT-I, or AEMT IN THE STATE OF GA. CURRENT CPR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.

*Responsibilities:*

EMT must demonstrate integrity and possess the ability to provide quality non-emergency and basic emergency care for patients. EMTs will respond to non-emergency ambulance calls to render appropriate medical attention to the patient and provide safe and timely transportation to the appropriate destination and back home. EMTs must comply with all corporate policies and procedures.

*Lifting:*

-must be able to successfully lift patient weighing 230 lbs, on stretcher, with assistance;

-must demonstrate ability to move patient weighing 230 lbs. from bed to stretcher, with assistance;

-must demonstrate ability to lift patient weighing 230 lbs, on stretcher, up three steps and down three steps, with assistance.

-Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers.

*Benefits:*

\*EMT-I and AEMT = $17-20/hour Based on experience.

EMT-B = $17-18/hour
