Job Description

We are searching for our next team member! Spin Freight is seeking a local freight pickup and delivery driver for the KC Metro. This position will involve driving a tandem axle day cab with a 53' trailer. Applicant must have 2 years overall tractor trailer experience, with at least 1 year of pulling a 53’ or 28’ dry van trailer in the metro area.

Hourly pay $26-$28/hour based on experience. Pre-employment and random drug screens required. Uniform t-shirts supplied. Weekly pay. Flexible start times between 8am - 11am.

You will work 40 hours per week with opportunities for OT.

Part time opportunities also available, mornings, evenings, weekends. We also run 26' box trucks in town, offering additional work opportunities for OT.

The ideal Full Time candidate will meet the following:

at least 2 years VERIFIABLE driving experience

valid DOT physical card

must be able to safely lift 80lbs

strong knowledge of the city and utmost concern to operate safely

personal smart phone with GPS, and phone headset

no DUI's or Refusal to Submit to an Alcohol or Drug Test in the last 7 years

TSA Background check required for air freight, drug screen

no more than 2 moving violations in the last 5 years

ability to deliver to military bases and schools

availability days M-F, flexible morning start times

availability to occasionally work an evening or half shift on the weekend
