Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS) for Community Support Tean

Job Description

Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS preferred but can also be a Registered CSAC) for our Community Support Team. Will be responsible for providing weekly substance abuse counseling to the clients on the team whom have a substance abuse diagnosis. Responsible for interventions to assist in their recovery from substance use, link with other community groups or programs that will help with their addiction and provide collaborative care. Counselor will need to attend weekly team meetings with the rest of the team to discuss caseload and other aspects of the CST team. Responsible for completing ASAMS for authorizations as well as a clinical note for each session conducted. Other paperwork may be necessary to ensure that authorizations are complete and approved. Will need to be a part of monthly CFT meetings for those clients with substance abuse diagnoses. Company Description
