Job Description

Our client in Middletown, CT has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our client is open to candidates available on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

Vital signs, BP, pulse, temperature, etc.

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff

Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures

Scheduling of all medical procedures

Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.

Prepare patient charts

Prepare rooms for patient examinations

Sterilize & clean instruments

Take inventory of medical materials and supplies

Qualifications:

Must have at least 1 year physician practice experience

Phlebotomy exp a plus

Strong organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
