Concierge Real-Estate & Property Management firm located in Orange County, CA is looking to identify and hire a Property Management Assistant on a contract basis who will provide administrative support to the Property Management Lead. The ideal candidate must be a responsible, self-starting, motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Their main objective is to assist their Lead and the team with all aspects of the department. Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are required for this role.

The Essential Responsibilities of the Property Management Assistant may include but are not limited to the following:

Effectively communicate with both landlords and tenants – quality customer service.

Filing electronic copies of important documents in an organized manner.

Assisting lead in keeping track of important dates - lease renewals, move-ins, move-outs, vacant properties, etc.

Drafting notices to tenants regarding entry, repairs, etc.

Performing detailed Move-Out process with tenants.

Contributing to the team effort of maintaining a 95%+ answer rate on phone calls.

Logging rent checks received and assisting with deposits.

Learning tenant and landlord laws – using resources such as our eviction attorneys, Apartment Association, etc. for legal advice when necessary.

Reading, comprehending and retaining important documents pertaining to tenants and landlords.

Requirements:

1+ year of Property Management Assisting experience.

CA Department of Realtors License preferred.

Multi-tasking, proactive with the workload in a high-volume environment.

Willing to work with today’s technology to make the job more efficient such as: AppFolio, Buildium, Grasshopper, Microsoft Office/Teams, DocuSign, ZipForms.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must have a valid California Driver’s License.

Knowledge of trust accounting is helpful.Company Description
