Return Center Lead Zone Manager – Southern California Description

Looking for a qualified, professional and reliable seasonal temporary position in the

Fireworks industry.

Two positions available: 1. La County 2. Orange County

3 to 4-week seasonal position. Training provided. Excellent Hourly Pay

Estimated dates: June 17th through July 9th.

Must be 21 years or older. Have reliable transportation as well as being able to drive a cargo van.

Zone Managers Responsibilities:

Under direction of Regional Manager, Account Representatives and Operations Manager Using a company provided checklist- visiting sales sites assigned and non-profit organizations throughout the selling season. Carrying extra supplies and sales tools to be given out if needed.

Noting any issues organizations are having. Able to identify simple mechanical issues with stands and make or suggest simple repairs.

Representing the Company in a positive light. Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.

Keeping in communication with Division Regional Manager, account manager-operations manager when needed.

Assessing merchandise stands for groups and reporting back to the account manager.

Lead Return Center portion of job:

July 5th only- extended work hour day - 8am to 6 pm

Arrive prior to first group appointment at assigned return center -outside, responsible for setting up return center – Pop up tent – folding table and chairs. Will have an administrative person from the company alongside you.

Must be able to direct one day temporary workers to build and shrink wrap pallets for pick-up at 4:30 pm by freight carrier DHE. Having experience in building and shrink-wrapping pallets would be a plus. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Managing up to 6 workers a plus. Organizational qualities are a plus. Keeping in contact with the Regional Manager this day will be essential. Adherence to temporary employee breaks and meal breaks is a must. Water and lunch will be provided for all at return centers by the company. Ability to send workers on shifts for breaks and meal break a must

Training on how to build a pallet, necessary stickering and DOT requirements will be done prior to July 5th.

This being a critical seasonal temporary position to fill we will request interviews of candidates prior to offering the positions.

Hourly range depending on experience $ 22-24 dollars per hour.Company Description
