Our client is a well-known American-based company with a reputation as an employer of choice with a respectful and inclusive culture.

They have an immediate need for a Data Productisation Manager to be based in their offices in the western suburbs of Melbourne. This senior role reports directly to the CIO and is responsible for establishing our client as a leading provider of commercial data solutions to the Automotive industry.

In this role, you will be leading the team responsible for developing and delivering inovative data products as well as equipping the business with the data-driven outputs that will enable them to grow.

You must be an experienced leader with high critical thinking, commercial acumen, collaboration, and project management to deliver successful data projects & solutions.

What you'll need to succeed;

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/data analytics or commiserate experience.

7+ years experience working on data transformation projects and leading teams of Data Engineers, preferably in the Automotive industry

Proven expertise in developing and delivering strategic commercial data initiatives.

Prior experience or exposure to the Automotive industry

Extensive data analytics and data science knowledge.

Data and analytics experience within the Automotive Industry.

Proven capability with analytics/data science tools (SAS/R/Python) and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).

Extensive visualisation experience with Tableau/Power BI/SAS Visual Analytics.

Deep knowledge of data warehouse and management tools – Snowflake and Collibra

Ability to develop strong relationships and influence change across all levels of the organization.

Motivated and capable of coaching, mentoring, training and developing people.

You will be a person with a customer focus who can deal well with different personalities using empathy and understanding.
