You draw on your ability to make quality decisions and build effective teams to manage a key sales or operations sub-unit or a support sub-function that provides specialized services to all of Desjardins Group. You are responsible for overseeing your unit's service offer, developing and implementing its business plan, and overseeing activities supporting the administrative department's business plan. You draw on your ability to develop talent and drive results to effectively manage people and performance, produce reports and ensure member/client satisfaction. More specifically, you are responsible for all activities that manage, update and modernize solutions supporting the Capital Markets sector's operations and goals. You are responsible for promoting several projects. You maximize investment potential, reduce complexity and speed up deliveries for all projects led by the department. You also manage the application portfolio for the solutions under your responsibility. You help envision how medium- and long-term solutions will develop to support and comply with business architecture targets, while ensuring everything is consistent with the sector's growth and efficiency plan. More specifically, you will be required to :

Support your immediate supervisor by helping organize work and planning the activities under your leadership.

Develop, implement and track your team's action plan, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic directions and other administrative units, with a focus on performance management.

Promote your projects while creating value for our members and clients, aligning project scopes and goals, motivating teams, achieving expected benefits, managing interdependencies and risks, and balancing the need for quick wins with long-term added value.

Manage business needs responsibly while also managing information security, risks, compliance, and the data for the applications under your authority.

Help develop a target for solutions that aligns with our vision of the business architecture, banking system modernization and digital transformation.

Establish management and communication practices that support change management, talent attraction and retention, skills development, employee engagement and diversity, in keeping with Desjardins's values.

Define and oversee the implementation of activities related to the unit's services and ensure that projects under your responsibility are carried out in a way that maximizes business results and ensures member/client satisfaction.

Support the administrative unit's action plan by managing individual and team performance.

Continuously improve process management.

Promote Desjardins Group's cooperative values.

Represent the organization and conduct business intelligence.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of nine years of relevant experience in managing multidisciplinary, hierarchical teams, managing large-scale, highly complex projects involving major investments and strategic management of multiple stakeholders

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience in strategic consulting roles

Knowledge of how to apply Agile project management principles

Knowledge of the business banking sector, specifically capital markets and treasury

Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec

Advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.Decision quality, Develops talent, Drive results, Teams
