About The Role

As the Head of Radio Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of RF Engineers to develop and design cellular mobile systems for telco, transit, industrial and enterprise customers. You will collaborate with cross – functional teams and contribute to the innovative solutions in the field of Radio designs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and manage a team of RF Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the RF Engineering team, guiding them in complex problem-solving and design decisions.

Take the overall accountability and leadership of the RF designs across Boldyn’s opportunities in telco, transit, venues, enterprise and smart cities.

Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from requirements gathering, conceptual design.

Enforce the adherence to common engineering methodology/process which defines a consistent, measurable and traceable approach to engineering activities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and design partners.

Effectively manage the RF engineering resources.

Assist in commercial activities such as pre-sales solutioning and contract reviews.

Stay current on the latest advancements and industry trends in RF technologies.

Complete RAMS and abide by

Advise and recommend tooling and software that aide in the design process.

Prioritise development within the team by setting goals and learning opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

Excellent Problem-solving skills.

Detail oriented with experience with datacentre systems, protocols, and best practices.

Strong conceptual and technical abilities

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Certification in CDCDP or equivalent

Some familiarity with IP networking preferred
