Salary: $22.00/hour - $28.00/hour

We are looking for a Shop Keeper to join our Campbell, CA Team!

Job Summary: The Shop Keeper is responsible overseeing and maintaining the local yard and warehouse. Supports field crews with material, small tools, and personal protective equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Use hand and power tools to maintain and repair company equipment per manufacturers specifications.

Organize and maintain the integrity of the warehouse and yard, which includes sweeping, emptying garbage cans, minor landscaping, moving and organizing materials with forklift or other equipment, and pressure washing equipment/floors/work areas.

Ensure small tools are prepared for safe use.

Troubleshoot and address repairs and maintenance of small tools and equipment in collaboration with shop foreman.

Order and organize parts, supplies, and equipment necessary to support jobs efficiently.

Ability to tow equipment.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: requires 4-6 years of experience in a comparable position. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Technical expertise.

Certificates/Licenses: valid driver's license in good standings (must be 18 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle). Class A license preferred.

Computer Skills: ability to send emails, order parts, and materials online and organize/maintain collected data.

Interpersonal Skills: ability to work as part of a team and create positive working relationships with other employees, members of management, clients, vendors, and agencies.

Leadership: typically works alone, but may act as a first-level support supervisor. Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

Organization and Planning: ability to meet deadlines and follow directions. Performs work under minimal supervision.

Problem Solving: problem solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Hearing adequate to perform job duties in person.

Able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.

Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties and respond to dangerous situations.

Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, squatting, sitting, pushing, and pulling.

Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and other electronic devices. Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

May work in areas where hazardous substances are present.

Must be willing and able to operate a company vehicle.

Able to safely ascend and descend ladders, stairs, ramps, and scaffolds.

Able to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.

Able to position one-self in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, and tunnels.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.

Able to work in the sun, heat, wet, dry, dirty, and dusty conditions.

Salary:

$22.00/hour - $28.00/hour
