Medicaid Consulting Manager

Experience Requirements:

5+ years consulting experience in Technology, Organizational Change Management, Health, Strategy, and/or the Medicaid Ecosystem

3+ years of demonstrated success in a consultative sales environment generating new business including sourcing accounts, getting referrals, identifying deals, negotiating terms, and closing business

3+ years working with (or in) the private and non-profit Medicaid Health ecosystem including MCOs.

3+ years successful demonstrated experience in an individual Consultative sales role selling $1M+ technology engagements or largerto customers in the Medicaid Ecosystem vertical

3+ years of experience delivering client facing consulting or technology services in the software, data, interoperability and/or business strategy domains

2+ years of experience developing a deep understanding of technology used by MCOs and their downstream providers

3+ years experience of developing a network of professionals in the Medicaid ecoystem who the candidate will be able to develop as customers, partners, mentors, candidates, and referral sources for future Medicaid IT consulting business

Candidate must have:

Strong consulting and consultative selling skills.

Excellent listening and oral and written communication skills.

Candidate must work well both in teams and independently

Candidate must have consulting skills and experience which will contribute to being billable to clients directly in the areas of one of the following: strategy, software, data, integration, Medicaid policy, Organizational Change Management or training

We anticipate that the Medicaid Consulting Manager will spend at 50% of their time on sales to new clients they generate in the Medicaid Ecosystem and 50% of their time being billable to those clients doing account management and growing revenue with growing accounts
