Job Description

You are part of one team taking ownership and responsibility for the care and keeping of this house. You stay willing and eager to serve in big and small ways, from welcoming guests to picking up trash.

The Coordinator assists the Guest Experience (GE) Director with weekend service and weekday administrative support to the GE volunteer-based ministries, team leads and members.

Assist in overseeing all GE ministries withing the department (Café, Greeters, New Here, Parking Lot, Translation, Ushers)

Assist with recruiting and developing volunteers for GE leadership roles, and coordinating bi-annual one step conversations with those interested in leadership.

Assist with implementing the vision of GE with all necessary resources (training, manuals, and communications) with an emphasis on welcoming, informing, serving, and caring for each guest.Coordinate and schedule Director’s one-on-one meetings.

Establishing and implementing quality standards that create a healthy growing GE culture by recruiting, training, and developing volunteers.

Process volunteer applications, schedule and facilitate leader and volunteer interviews, and run background checks for leaders.

Manage all GE ministry information for the church management database (Rock), Eventbright website, and Planning Center Online.

Develop metrics for the first-time guest re-engagement and support other ministries in developing effective follow-up processes.

Facilitates volunteer communication for team assignments, weekend services, and other events in both written/verbal communication and on PCO.

Ensuring consistency in weekly systems and procedures by regularly meeting with team leaders and other volunteers.

Streamlines all GE processes for Sunday services and in all other departments requiring host services (Children's, Youth, Young Adults, special events for Adult Ministries).

Communicating with Strat/Mark team to ensure that GE is in alignment with campus/global marketing initiatives.

Creating structures of volunteer teams to assist the ministry and partner with individuals and small groups.

Work with the IT Department to develop new and improved methods of maximizing reporting.

Coordinate with the central team for any pop-up sales or Victory sponsored merchandise, and communicate desired inventory specific to the campus or ministry.

Attend weekly service flow meetings and communicate weekly service details to staff.

Prepare weekend attendance report and submit to the SET.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies:

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project management preferred

3+ years office experience preferred

Volunteer experience as a team member or leader preferred

Flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings

Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment

Reliable transportation (travel to other campuses

Knowledge of both Mac environment and Microsoft Office 360 software

Knowledge of Planning Center Online

Knowledge of project management software experience
