Position Overview:

We seek an outstanding Product Designer dedicated to crafting delightful, customer-focused designs within our lending ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the end-to-end development of user experiences. We're in search of an individual with unwavering attention to detail, prioritising the comprehension

of users' pain points as a foundation for product design. Your expertise lies in delivering creative and straightforward UX solutions to intricate business challenges.

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end product design process from concept to implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.

You will collaborate with individuals from various departments and roles, including product, BD, Growth, Risk & policy, and other cross-functional teams, actively participating in identifying customer aspirations and aligning them with business objectives.

Understanding the consumer is paramount, drawing insights from past experiences, research, and market data to maintain a laser focus on the consumer throughout the product development process.

Your responsibilities encompass designing products from wireframing to developing end-to-end flows and prototypes, aiming to create solutions that are both elegant and intuitive.

By combining the strength of analytics and heuristics with cutting-edge consumer validation approaches, your approach is both intuitive and data-driven.

Close collaboration with front-end developers is crucial to deliver polished features and user interfaces that meet the highest standards.

Continuous iteration and innovation are key as you strive to push the design frontier to new heights and advocate for user-centred design principles and best practices throughout the organisation.

Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design culture of the team.

Requirements:

Professional Experience: 4-8 years of professional experience, demonstrating a proven track record in designing world-class products.

Portfolio: Showcase a stunning portfolio featuring detailed case studies highlighting your design process and accomplishments.

Customer Focus: Prioritise the customer experience, utilising design research methods to gain deep insights into customer needs and preferences.

Problem-Solving and Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrive on solving complex problems, exhibiting an entrepreneurial spirit, and embracing challenges with enthusiasm.

UX Methodology and Lifecycle: Demonstrate a solid understanding of UX methodology and lifecycle across various channels and platforms.

Independence and Leadership: Assume full responsibility for the design process, functioning independently within a design team.

Aesthetic Sense and Attention to Detail: Exhibit a strong aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail in user interface design.

Prototyping and Design Tools: Proficient in Prototyping skills and experienced in designing with Figma, with expertise in design-to-developer hand-off.

Developer Guidelines and Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with developer guidelines across platforms and web, ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams.

Peer Management and Collaboration: Capable of gaining trust and effectively managing peers to deliver a satisfying user experience.

Design Advocacy and Justification: Able to confidently present and defend design decisions, supported by research or competitive benchmarking.

Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess strong communication and presentation skills, actively listening to feedback and advocating for the best user experience.

Comprehensive Design Thinking: Think beyond UI/UX, considering motion and flow between interactions to create cohesive user experiences.

Autonomy and Project Ownership: Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
