Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY SHIFT OFFICERS in Nassau County, NY.

Locations & Shifts: East Meadow: Monday, Wednesday-Thursday 0900-1700 Pay Rate: 16.50/hr.

Farmingdale: Friday -Tuesday 0015-0815 Pay Rate: 17.00/hr.

Brookville: Friday - Saturday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: 17.00/hr.

Brookville: Friday - Sunday, Tuesday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: 17.00/hr.

Roslyn (mobile): Monday - Friday 0800-1600 Pay Rate: 17.50/hr.

Roslyn (mobile): Monday - Friday 1800-0000 Pay Rate: 17.50/hr.

Roslyn (mobile): Saturday - Wednesday 0000-0600 Pay Rate: 17.50/hr.

UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.

Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.

Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma / GED required.

5-7 Year U.S.

work history may be required.

Valid NYS Security Guard License.

Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.

Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Military experience a plus Protective security experience a plus.
