**Job Summary:**

One of our best clients is seeking an experienced Torts Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in tort law, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.

**Responsibilities:**

Represent clients in tort claims involving personal injury, negligence, product liability, premises liability, defamation, and other tort-related matters.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents applicable to each case.

Provide expert legal advice to clients, evaluating the merits of potential claims and defenses.

Develop effective litigation strategies and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Conduct depositions, interviews, and investigations to gather evidence and build a strong case.

Negotiate settlements and represent clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as mediations and arbitrations.

Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.

**Qualifications:**

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license to practice law in Michigan

8+ years of experience in any of the following litigation areas: toxic tort, environmental, products liability, regulatory, business and/or cannabis

Solid knowledge and understanding of tort law principles, including personal injury, negligence, product liability, premises liability, defamation, and other related areas.

Proven track record of successfully managing tort cases from inception to resolution.

Trial experience is preferred but not required.
