WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A DSP?
As a Direct Support Professional - DSP, your role involves providing essential support to individuals with disabilities. This includes assistance with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and transportation, as well as promoting socialization and offering emotional support. Your success in this position relies on excellent communication skills, the ability to build meaningful relationships, and a compassionate demeanor. Basic computer skills for documentation, familiarity with electronic health record systems, and potential use of medical equipment are part of the job.
YOUR SCHEDULE
This full-time care coordinator position works a flexible schedule with several shifts to choose from: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm, 9 am - 5 pm, or 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
