Reports to the Senior Resourcing Manager

To continue to support our growth plans we need to attract and retain the best talent available in the market. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Manager to lead the development, management, and execution of the Group’s recruitment marketing strategy to further build awareness of our Employer Brand and Employer Value Proposition.

Key activities will include creating engaging internal and external recruitment campaigns, supporting the recruitment team with career events and spot campaign, and overall management of all talent acquisition focused content across traditional and digital channels.

This individual will work closely with the recruitment, marketing and communications teams, as well as the wider business to ensure that marketing strategies meet talent objectives and align to the wider Aztec brand. In addition to working with key stakeholders within the Group, the successful individual will also work with external partners such as marketing and design agencies, merchandisers, and event organisers.

The candidate will have a solid marketing background with excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to being technology aware.

Key responsibilities:

Create the recruitment marketing strategy working closely with senior resourcing manager and resourcing team to determine allocation of budget and the tactics and channels we use to position ourselves as an employer of choice across all markets in which we operate.

Work with the resourcing team to develop a sponsorship and events programme along with the associated promotional activity, including brochureware, exhibition stand materials, and creation of advertisement campaigns using internal channels such as the intranet and external channels such as social media, radio, and print.

Create and manage integrated talent attraction campaigns from concept through to lead generation, utilising both traditional and digital channels.

Create relevant campaign content and copy, obtaining relevant sign-off and publishing on relevant channels.

Manage the ongoing development and distribution of content related to career/employee experiences at the Aztec Group.

Manage the Aztec careers website and job board page content, ensuring that it reflects our strategy, brand and remains relevant, consistent, and up to date.

Research, source, and maintain marketing merchandise, creating copy and proofing as required.

Monitor and report effectiveness of initiatives undertaken across traditional and digital channels.

Conduct market research to identify trends to inform recruitment marketing activities.

Provide administrative support to senior resourcing manager, including, but not limited to: monthly invoice support for marketing related activities, arranging contracts with suppliers and coordinating legal and business sign off where required.

Skills, knowledge, and expertise:

Proven marketing or comms experience in a fast-paced growth environment is essential.

Track record in the creation and implementation of effective promotional plans and campaigns is required.

Previous experience of creating and supporting talent or recruitment marketing activities is highly desirable.

Experience in managing budgets and writing plans is needed.

Attention to detail, with the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships

Excellent writing skills, with experience in developing promotional material is essential.

Experience of web design software is of interest.

Marketing qualification at degree level is desirable but not essential.

Previous Financial industry marketing experience would be of interest but not required.

Excellent organisational skills are essential

Initiative with the ability to be self-driven to deliver when needed is a must

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint with strong capabilities in Excel for reporting and analysis purpose.

Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and third party-suppliers
