Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Strategic Supply Chain Analyst with expertise in bill of materials (BOM) management, planning, and a passion for driving strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to optimize supply chain operations. As a Strategic Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance the efficiency, resilience, and competitiveness of our supply chain.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, improve operational efficiency, and drive cost savings.

Conduct comprehensive analysis of supply chain data, market trends, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for strategic improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic objectives, prioritize initiatives, and develop action plans to achieve organizational goals.

Bill of Materials (BOM) Management:

Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of bill of materials (BOM) for all products in our portfolio.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of BOM data through regular audits, data validation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Identify opportunities to standardize and streamline BOM management processes to improve data integrity and efficiency.

Inventory Planning and Optimization:

Utilize advanced forecasting techniques, demand planning models, and inventory optimization tools to predict demand and optimize inventory levels.

Develop inventory optimization strategies to minimize carrying costs, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and improve inventory turnover.

Implement inventory segmentation strategies to tailor inventory policies based on product characteristics, demand variability, and supply chain risks.

Supplier Relationship Management:

Partner with strategic suppliers to develop collaborative relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate with suppliers to implement innovative supply chain solutions, enhance supply chain visibility, and mitigate supply chain risks.

Strategic Project Management:

Lead strategic projects and initiatives aimed at transforming the supply chain function, enhancing operational capabilities, and driving competitive advantage.

Develop project charters, timelines, and resource plans, and manage project execution to ensure successful delivery of objectives and outcomes.

Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, and drive alignment and buy-in across the organization.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain organization, fostering creativity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digitization to enhance supply chain efficiency, agility, and resilience.

Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in supply chain management, and recommend innovative solutions to drive competitive advantage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, with a focus on bill of materials (BOM) management, planning, and strategic initiatives.

Proven track record of developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence, cost savings, and competitive advantage.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and decision support tools.

Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.

Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex supply chain challenges.

Experience with supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, demand planning software, inventory optimization tools).

Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies are desirable.
