Join our growing team! Compu Dynamics has an opening for an HVAC Installer on our HVAC Service team!

Essential Functions:

Ability to oversee job site.

Expert knowledge of the refrigeration cycle to include: identifying components in refrigeration circuit, understanding how each component works, troubleshoots; uses manifold gauge set, and temperature measuring devices for routine maintenance; understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging.

Expert knowledge of electron theory, how electricity travels, AC and DC currents, single phase and three phase circuits, and series and parallel circuits; ability to read complex wiring diagrams; understanding of Ohms Law; ability to use multi-meters to read voltage, current and resistance values; must be able to troubleshoot complex electrical circuits.

Provide both planned and emergency response diagnostic and repair services on commercial grade heating, ventilating, and air conditional systems.

Perform proactive preventive maintenance on equipment and systems; recommends proactive repair solutions.

Expert knowledge of the heating cycle to include: identifying components in heating system, understanding how each component works, diagnosing problems in the heating system using a gas pressure test and other devices for routine maintenance and to troubleshoot; understands the theory of combustion and how it relates to combustible fuels such as gas and oil.

Must be competent in soldering and brazing.

Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients, vendors and colleagues; works to establish a positive working relationship.

Provide timely and complete documentation of work performed.

Drives company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws.

Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

10+ years' experience in the trades

Master's license or equivalent HVAC training and experience

CFC/EPA Universal

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience w/Mission Critical Mechanicals

Compu Dynamics Pay Range

$75,000—$90,000 USD
