Position: Warehouseman / Driver

Trumbull Industries is an independent wholesale distributor providing products and services to Plumbers, Contractors, Industrial Manufacturers, Mechanical Contractors, and Utilities. This position is located in Akron, OH and will perform all functions related to receiving, stocking, shipping, and driving.

Job Responsibilities Include

Warehouse Duties: Provide general support in the shipping and receiving of product, which may include receiving, loading and unloading trucks.

Inventory Duties: Accurately pull product for customer orders and put away stocking materials such as pallets, pipe, boxes, and fittings into the correct stocking locations.

Customer Service Duties: Provide support to internal and external customers to keep service satisfaction level high.

Material Handling Duties: Operate warehouse equipment – propane, diesel and electric tow motors, hand trucks & pallet jacks in and outside the warehouse.

Driving Duties: Drive a truck as assigned to make deliveries of product to customer’s job sites and places of business and assist the customer at the delivery.

Required Experience:

Physically capable of being on your feet for up to 10 hours in a day, lift, carry, load 40 pounds un-assisted and sometimes weight up to 75 pounds.

Valid Driver’s License

Must pass a drug screen, physical, lift test, and background check.

Strong Customer Service skills.

Related product knowledge a plus.

Intermediate computer skills - RF scanner experience preferred.

Road experience with van trucks
